Lulu M. Fairbanks (1888-1968) worked as a reporter and then editor for the Alaska Weekly of Seattle, Washington, from 1922 until the newspaper folded in 1956. Though she never lived in Alaska, she was active in the International Sourdough Reunion, Alaska Friends, and the Alaska-Yukon Pioneers and its auxiliary Ladies of the Golden North.
